Members of Our Team:
Executive Director
Peter Stone, MA,MLADC,CPT,CART,CAS, has a Master’s of Arts Degree (MA) in Counseling Psychology specific to Addictions Theory & Intervention Applications. He is a Master Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor (MLADC), Certified Personal Fitness Trainer (CPT) specializing in Stress & Anger Management, a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART), and consultant specializing in anger-based hostility, and entitlement-based coercive domestic power and control, and a Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS), specializing in the compensatory nature to alcohol and drug abuse. Peter is the pioneer of the Select Emotional Alternatives-Cognitive Application Processing (SEA-CAP), a two stage model, six tiered skills approach to maximizing intra/interpersonal emotional competence for adolescents and adults. He is also the founder of the Health & Wellness Executive of Life programing. This efficient program is designed to address the executive functions to maximizing self-efficacy and personal control.
He is a member of the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders (founded by Harvard University Medical School Division on Addictions), the Anger Management Training Institute, the National Federation of Professional Trainers, and the Society of Emotional Intelligence. Peter is also active with the International Society for Mental Health Online Online. Peter is an alumnus of Merrimack College (North Andover, Massachusetts) where he received his BA in Psychology & Economics, and Norwich University (Northfield, Vermont) where he received his MA in Counseling Psychology. Program Director
Brian G. Cressy, LADC: Brian has over 18 years clinical experience managing, directing, and facilitating alcohol and drug abuse intensive outpatient programs. He is a NH Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor and MA Certified Alcohol Drug Abuse Counselor. Brian is the Clinical Director to our Intense Outpatient Program (IOP).
Cultural Director
Judith Stone-Preston, Ph.D, Communication and Bilingual Support Director: Judi has her Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and is our resource for relating our applications to clients’ cultural issues and crossing language barriers in Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese.
