- Attendance is limited.
- The seminar fee is $60.00.
When a person experiencing anger does not manage it appropriately he or she suffers, and so do relationships with family members, coworkers, supervisors, and customers. In fact, angry people tend to be more isolated and less fulfilled in all of their relationships. And if anger is managed incorrectly it can exact a severe toll on physical health.
Alternatively, a person who manages his or her anger avoids black and white thinking (e.g., “never” and “always” statements), uses effective communication skills to share feelings and needs, checks for possible compromises, and assesses what is at stake when choosing to stay angry or handle the anger. Managing anger is a skill that constructively results in an increased energy level, effective communication, strengthened relationships, improved physical and mental health, and augmented self-worth.
