Domestic Abuse Evaluations: Call 603-489-1956
Domestic abuse is the behavior of entitlement-based coercive control with the goal to punish, intimidate, or eliminate a partner. Domestic abuse is motivated out of the irrational need for dysfunctional personal power. Unlike anger-based aggression which is motivated by a threat to one’s personal self in context with his or her social self, domestic abuse has as its roots self-serving perspectives of deservedness, centrality, and superiority.
If you have been arrested, gone to court, or are concerned about your perspectives of deservedness, centrality, and superiority and how they interfere with and influence your relationships, we provide discrete domestic abuse evaluation and counseling services.
All of our evaluations are efficient, comprehensive and court recognized. All court ordered referrals are processed through our Hampstead or 2757 White Mountain Highway, North Conway, New Hampshire office.
Domestic Abuse Evaluation (Court Accepted) Cost: $500.00 Unlike Anger Management Evaluations, issuse of entitlement-based coercive domestic power and control are evaluated.
The issues relating to domestic abuse are different from situational anger-based aggression. Although the anger-response is indeed involved, the triggers to entitlement-based coercive control differ. To address our clients needs, we offer a Domestic Abuse Program that begins with an in-depth evaluation into your personal beliefs of entitlement. The assessment tools used are drawn from the Center of Disease Control’s Intimate Partner Violence and Victimization Assessment Instruments (2007).
