Anger Management Evaluations: Call 603-489-1956
Depending upon your situation, you have the option to either participate in our In-office program or enroll in our Online program. All court referrals are required to participate in the In-office programs located at the Hampstead Professional Park, Hampstead, New Hampshire, or 2757 White Mountain Highway, North Conway, New Hampshire 03860.
Anger Management Evaluation consists of four one-hour sessions. These are individual based sessions consisting of the following:
Session One: During this first session: intake, screening, orientation is performed that consists of personal, situational, and life history data collection. If court referral, copy of arresting police report is required for review.
Session Two: The participant’s impression management is assessed. Impression management consists of those impressions of “who” (e.g., identity) a person thinks he or she is (e.g., personal self) in relation to the world (e.g., social self) in the form of expectations. Expectations not met often trigger frustration.
Session Three: The participant’s frustration tolerance manifest as thresholds to expectations not met are assessed whereby revealing personal and social triggers to the anger-response. Depending upon the participant’s level of cognitive-problem solving, the anger-response is expressed as impulses.
Session Four: The participant’s impulse control is assessed whereby identifying irrational acts of impulsivity employed in order to avoid, intimidate, or eliminate the perceived ideal or real threat to the participant’s real or perceived self.
Upon completion of the evaluation process, a comprehensive Anger Management Evaluation is documented and copy provided to the participant along with the origninal copy sent directly to his or her choice of recipients.
